Founder Story (Quirkably Yours)

Quirkably Yours began from a simple idea: that individuality deserves to be seen, celebrated, and beautifully expressed.

I didn’t grow up feeling particularly “on the inside” of things. Like many people, I learned early on to stay quiet, observe, and adapt. Life wasn’t always stable, and belonging often felt like something happening just slightly out of reach. Over time, I realised how many people move through life feeling the same in small, unspoken ways.

As I got older, I followed a practical path, working in accountancy and later exploring different roles and small ventures, including running a travel franchise and working from home while raising my daughters. Like many, life became a balance of responsibility, routine, and simply getting things done.

But underneath it all, there was always a quieter pull towards something more expressive. Something that felt personal. Something that reflected people as they really are, not as they are expected to be.

Quirkably Yours came from that space.

It is a creative outlet built around one simple belief: people are at their most interesting when they are being themselves. Their hobbies, quirks, memories, relationships, and small details matter - and they deserve to be turned into something meaningful, not overlooked.

That is why personalisation sits at the heart of everything. Not as a feature, but as a feeling. A way of helping someone say, “this was made for you”, in a world that often feels generic and fast.

Today, Quirkably Yours is about celebrating individuality in a quiet, thoughtful way. Not loud or overly sentimental, but honest, personal, and real. Products that are designed to feel like they belong to someone specific - because they do.

For me, it is also something more personal: a way of finally creating something that feels fully aligned with who I am, and helping others feel a little more seen in the process.
